Integrators

Integrate through the boundary.
Do not shortcut the model.

Integration with RSM is not a database shortcut. It is a governed boundary where identity, semantic mapping, authority, provenance, disclosure, and reconciliation are explicit.

Connector boundary

An existing system integrates through a connector that maps source-system concepts into RSM operations and projections. The source system remains authoritative where it legitimately is; RSM becomes authoritative only for admitted canonical RSM state.

Boundary path

  • Existing system
  • RSM Connector
  • RSM Protocol
  • RSM Runtime
  • Canonical and semantic state

Integration rules

Integration Rules

01

Map identity explicitly.

02

Preserve provenance.

03

Do not bypass canonical admission.

04

Separate authentication from authority.

05

Treat projections as disposable.

Federation

Federation.

Federation depends on selective disclosure, stable identifiers, versioned semantics, policy-aware operations, and reconciliation paths when independently governed systems disagree.
