In RSMOne's words
A lab checking whether a grain lot meets a protein threshold records an Evaluation, including which Predicate version governed it. The record is authoritative about what was evaluated and concluded by that evaluator; it does not make the conclusion universally incontestable.
What it is not
Evaluation ≠ Evidence
An Evaluation records the application of criteria to inputs and its result; Evidence is among those inputs and is not itself a conclusion. 04 §10.6 · Assertion
Evaluation ≠ Assertion
An Evaluation records what one evaluator concluded; an Assertion is a conclusion adopted or attested under an identifiable authority within a defined scope. 04 §10.6 · Assertion
